Great post, Kathy! I'm not opposed to home meetings (this is where I got my first person who wanted a membership), but I think that the other problem is that people who talk about home meetings can set people up for failure. I know that at that meeting, we told our upline that we were going to show the video. Later, we said that people seemed to lose attention, and she told us we shouldn't have shown the whole thing. I couldn't help but think that it would've been nice to tell me that before the meeting rather than after the meeting.

Still, you are so right about not doing something that just rings false. I won't do the three-foot rule. Do this, and eventually, people will avoid you. Not only that, but why would literally every person within arm's reach be a potential business partner? That, and this just isn't my personality. Therefore, you are safe from me even if you are within a three-foot radius ;-)

Great post, Kathy! You are so right about the importance of disciplines. Even if a business or other enterprise doesn't work, isn't it a lot better to live your life knowing you made your best effort than wonder what would happen how things would have been>

Hey Kathy, RSS is a great thing to use because some people may not want to sign up with their email but they will sign up to receive your RSS feed. This allows you to continue to get your content to them but simply through a different medium. The key is you're still in contact and communication with your visitors because you have different ways for them to get your info.

RSS is a thing of beauty, it makes sharing my content so easy. I always RSS to email all my posts to my email as an addition way to share my content. It works like a charm!

Wonderful! I didn't know about the Google Reader thing. I have never done RSS because I didn't want 100 MORE emails coming to my inbox! But if I can go to one place and see the posts, I can do that! Now I need to figure out Google Reader :)

Now this is a fantastic question. The real question is this, how much are your investments making you? If the answer is "more than my mortgage", absolutely do not pay off your mortgage. For most of us though, the answer is an obvious yes!

It really helps in the customer service side of things to have call recording software installed. Such software improves communication within your team and makes quality assurance a lot easier.

I've been using a feed reader for years. Twice a year I go through it an update it; getting rid of blogs I'm no longer interested in. It saves me so much time, but I never really understood it. Thanks for making it simple!
